Delta Forever

I am pleased to announce that I will be participating in the traveling Delta Forever exhibition to be held in Sacramento, CA this upcoming month. I am honored to exhibit along with an esteemed selection of California artists including my beloved mentor Gregory Kondos and fellow painter Barbara Arnold.

This is an exhibition held in protest of a highly controversial bill that has the potential to damage a significant amount of agricultural land and wild life in the Sacramento Delta area. This includes my grandfather's property which is located at the planned spot for intake no. 3.

Here are a few links to articles about this topic.

Children's Theater Concept Proposal

Putting together a quick proposal for a mural at Sacramento's Fairytale town. They have been laboring to restore their quaint theater. Here are my ideas!

Layered Concept Works

Just sketching up a few concept works for a window display and cat walk back drop. Lovely rainy afternoon in PDX!

Glitches of Late

I have been doing a little painting and a little digital work recently. Here are some interesting turn outs...

I've always dreamed of designing an album cover, haven't yet found a bad that fits the work. If this feels like your music please feel free to reach out!

A+ to anyone who gets the text reference, no relation to any actual bands.

Art Into Dusk: Alberta's January Last Thursday

This past Thursday was the monthly Alberta art walk and I was honored to be a part of it! If you have the chance to, I'd highly recommend a stroll down this artsy street. Especially between 6-9 of any Last Thursday of the month. While summer months are busy and packed, the winter and spring will be full of warm galleries, lovely people and (I'm sure) some wine.

I would first like to thank the lovely Julie Ruckman for hosting my show. If you need a new up-do or a trim definitely check out Zuzu Organic Salon and their gallery while you're at it!

At the Alberta Studios there was an amazing array of work. Here are a few artists I found particularly inspiring:

Just across the hall from me was Megan McGuinness. You can find her work at http://askthemoonart.com/

Also the work of Ariel Zimman as well as Cooper Jeppsen were fantastic:

"StuStuStudio presents Beyond Archipelago, a collection of ceramic works by ceramic artist Ariel Zimman of RELM STUDIOS, featuring collaborative pieces with Cooper Jeppesen."

Here are a few shots from my show in the Alberta Studios at the Zuzu organic salon and gallery!
