Love you madly

Hey guys!

Currently obsessed with CAKE's song Love you madly, new ring tone. No other reason for the title. 

Here is my a la prima in class still life, we had to do it in a one 2 hour class period. I'm pretty happy with the result despite the fact that me and acrylic paint don't usually get along.

It was all about capturing the "feeling" of the objects and letting the paint "do it's thing" as Jason Holesher puts it.

Here are some gestures for fun. Hoping to get out of action analysis and take 2D animation in the fall!

Humble Pie

You know some people in this world really need a slice of humble pie, especially if you're not the best- yet...
I know I am good at some things, but I am far from the best- maybe some day I will be the best but until then its time for me to watch, practice and learn.
I want to be a life long learner, it is something I will always enjoy. I love the feeling of change and accomplishment, I love seeing it in other people and that is why I love to teach.

Please take a look at Xavier Robles de Medina's blog, he is an amazing artist pursuing his double BFA in Painting and animation. He is one of those people that I admire greatly, the one who you know will be so great and makes you want to work harder! :)

Life without Erasers

I was helping my friend with his speech today and he said a very compelling quote to me, "Life is like drawing without an eraser."

Late Night

Can't sleep tonight.

Whenever I can't sleep I always imagine myself on a swing, pumping my legs and floating back and forth between the consciousness and the dream world, but for some reason I can never just let go of the swing.
